Kick Brickz® Hosts First Live Shoe Kit Building Event at Houston-Area Elementary School

Richmond, Texas — Kick Brickz® took its mini-brick shoe kit experience off the screen and into the classroom for the very first time, partnering with Shady Oak Primary School in Richmond, Texas for a hands-on two-hour art class event.

On October 5, 2025, Kick Brickz® co-founders Colby Greene and Jimmy Greene traveled to the Houston area for their second out-of-state business trip together, bringing 50 Kick Brickz® shoe kits directly to the students of Shady Oak Primary School, led by school owner Debbie Elder.

For two hours, Colby and Jimmy took over the school's art class with an energy-packed session blending creativity and entrepreneurship. Students learned the basics of how to start a business — from identifying a product and understanding a target market, to pricing and customer value — all through the lens of the Kick Brickz® brand story.

After the entrepreneurship lesson, the kids got to do what they came for: lace up their kicks. Each student received a Kick Brickz® set and followed along to build and decorate their own mini shoe kit, turning art class into a full STEM and business learning experience.

The event marked a milestone for the brand — its first live, in-person shoe kit building event — and reinforced the founders' vision of using Kick Brickz® as a tool to inspire the next generation of young entrepreneurs.

With 50 kits purchased by Shady Oak Primary, the event also demonstrated real demand for the Kick Brickz® school and educational program, setting the foundation for future partnerships with schools, youth organizations, and fundraising programs nationwide.

"Seeing the kids light up when they started building was everything. That's exactly why we started Kick Brickz®."
— Colby Greene, Co-Founder, Kick Brickz®

Shady Oak Primary is located in Richmond, Texas, part of the greater Houston metropolitan area. The school, under the leadership of owner Debbie Elder, provided a welcoming and enthusiastic environment for the Kick Brickz® team's inaugural school event.
